An interview with MaryAnn Camilleri, Director of the Flash Forward Festival, and scenes from the galleries and exhibits. Find out how the festival came to Boston's waterfront and how Flash Forward fulfills its mission to support emerging photographers. The festival ran for four days with lectures, panel discussions, exhibitions and receptions, centered around contemporary photography. All the exhibitions were free and open to the public.
Boston is only the second city, and first in the United States, to host the Flash Forward Festival. Developed by the Magenta Foundation, the visual arts series originated in Toronto in 2005. For more information, please visit www.flashforwardfestival.com or www.magentafoundation.org.
