A major U.S. mine for rare earth metals has gone back into operation, adding a much needed source to offset China's control of the unique group of materials necessary to build tech gadgets like smart phones and laptops.

  • China is going to use it, along with the national debt, to strangle the U.S. into submission.

  • @666NedFlanders My point is, the map is a standard map, just turned upside down. And by turned, I mean printed. And by upside down I mean south where north is on an upside up(standard). That's all I'm saying. I'm not trying to discuss what they said, I just got to this video by looking for videos on rare earth minerals and such, I'm not really looking for news atm.

  • @mantas1111000 All of that changes the focus of the map. Google 'middle kingdom china world map', you will see how china views itself on the map. It places itself in the center making it the focus of attention. Yes a modern map usually has the us on the western hemisphere orriented how we are used to but the fact is, if you grab a globe and turn it, this view changes alot.

Any case, these two guys are complete dipshits and probably don't know any of this and just like to troll with fake info.

  • @666NedFlanders Still, on that map, the south is where north usually is. This map has the Atlantic in the middle, and is upside down. I believe i can see when Africa or South America are upside down.

  • @mrnawanshehr It is not actually upside down. Notice, "The World Map" is right side up. Maps are printed in different orrientations depending on where you live and buy the map. Its no uncommon to see the USA somewhere other than the western hemisphere (by apperance) in foreign maps; sometimes even upside down.

  • @AnjuABCDE Depending on where you buy a map, the orientation will change. For example, if you live in austrilia you may find maps with it in the center of the map. A map in china, is likely to me notated as 'The Middle Kingdom" and be in the middle of the map.

  • My God this information is horribly inaccurate...

  • some physicist will find a new material or old material used in a new way to replace rare earths, its happened b4 it will happen again. in fact they now have graphene for faster transistors and graphene is not toxic like rare earths.

  • retard erfs?

  • @mrnawanshehr its an upside down world. get the irony?
