I love Southwold. I visted last year after reading Philip Leslie's novel 'The History of Us', which has an intense scene set here. Beautiful place.

I live in the States, but whenever I'm in England visiting my family we go to Aldeburgh and Southwold. Absolutely beautiful.

Having a week in Southwold at the beginning of August, love the place. Had my Honeymoon there 17 years ago.
The town has some cracking pubs also, just hope the sun shines for us.

Had some nice sunny days there. I once sailed into Southwold and the current against us was running at about 4 knots!!
