  • How about the sound?

Can I get any sound somwhow from the built in speakers on my 24" cinema when connecting to a pc dvi?

  • @marcuswest I'm sorry to say that the DP200 does not carry any audio through. We have another product called the HD620 which does that and more. Or you can wait for the DP300, which will take HDMI with audio and pass it to the displayport.

  • @AtlonaVideoDemo Sorry I'm a noob @ this. But does that mean you won't get any sound if your running a ps3 on an 24" imac with AT-DP200 / AT-DP200HD setup ?

  • @xdee716 The DP200 doesn't carry sound because it's designed for DVI. The DP300 is Atlona's HDMI to MDP product. It will get you 1080p on PS3 with audio. Find the DP300 on the official site and don't forget to friend us on facebook!

  • I'd like to know if the DP200 is now able to connect a console such as the xbox360 or ps3 to the new iMac 27"(even if its's 720p it's ok).

I read a lot on the internet and undestood that a firmware was needed for this purpose.

  • Use Atlona's HDP620 for 1080p on consoles

  • @AtlonaVideoDemo Thanks. I already got another type of Atlona adapter that works perfectly with my 24". Both sound and display works so my problem was solved :) The adapter in this video seems to be the older version of the one i I just bought.

  • The device only passes through a signal and the monitor does not support a brightness adjustment.

  • I'm curious about brightness adjustment on the ACD with this device. Since the ACD doesn't have an OSD, adjustments have to be made within the OS. Does this device support that?

  • does work now, we needed to do an update
