1st Movement of a 2-part Wind Quartet! This wind quartet reminds me a little of the music in the Legend of Zelda series. I tried to really employ the colors of the different instruments to get a really full sound and exotic images in my head. I personally see a lot of blue when I hear this movement, so I decided to call it In A Lake.

  • Pretty cool, what program do you use, Sibelius?

  • I use Finale! I would like to check out Sibelius as well, though.

  • If there are no real people performing this, that explains why this sounds like an old game.

  • That's an interesting observation, how do you think this would sound if it was performed? What kind of associations would emerge instead?

  • You are very talented! I like that you mention what color you get in your mind when you hear the music. Who was your influence? After I listened to the 70's experimental band Egg's album, The Civil Surface, I've been trying to find more music like this.

  • Very interesting and fun piece! :D very beautiful! I really like it! Any chanses of getting a performance?
