She collided with the gas platform she was supplying - there's video of her sinking like a stone right alongside the platform. She's not been down for long, doubtless redeemable.

How long was it down? Why did it sink?

I know it looks bad at first sight lads but you'll be surpised what a year in drydock will do for her :)

@welshfluteplayer I doubt very much its scrap. it would cost more to break her up for scrap than to repair her.

Because vessel sank near oil platform and they were afraid that ship's wreck may be dangerous for construction.
