@ultravulva --Bin Laden did not get blown up, he was not hit by a bomb, navy seals came in via helicopter. Obama made the decisions early in his term to do more in Pakistan. Obama gave the order to violate Pakistan's sovrenty to go in. It could have been "black hawk down", or just some rich guys house. It was a HUGE gamble. It worked, and he should get credit for it paying off.

@gigaboy47 The economy was done by 2008. Only adding tens of thousands of jobs a month is bad, but its better than losing 600,000 in one month, like we were doing at the end of 2008. Gas was more expensive in the summer of 08 as well. But then it was because of the price of oil. A barrel of oil is 60 dollars cheaper than it was in the summer of 08, but the gas prices are the same. The oil companies are now getting even MORE rich off the suffering of middle and lower class American...

@DBLeiii Bin Laden was not a criminal. He was the leader of a quasi-military organization that declared war on a foreign and sovereign nation, and thus was a target for military action. Surely he could have strolled down to the Paki military academy and turned himself in anytime during the past five years. Since you brought up WWII, if anything the mission against Bin Laden has a parallel to the mission to assassinate Adm. Isoroku Yamamoto, in which the US acted on intelligence.
