Haley Reinhart Debuting NEW SINGLE / Who WINS American Idol? - American Idol 5/25/11 Show Preview

American Idol season 10, year 2011 episode preview for May 25, 2011.
Now that Haley Reinhart is gone, we are down to the final 2 contestants.
Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery battled it out last night and we will finally find out who is the new American Idol tonight.

Tonight's episode is looking to be a blockbuster show. Here are the confirmed appearances/performances:

Bono and the Edge will will appear alongside cast members of the Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.

Lady Gaga will sing "Edge of Glory" from her new album, accompanied by Bruce Springsteen E Street Band saxophonist, Clarence Clemons.

TBoz & Chili with Lil' Jon

Gladys Knight

Kirk Franklin, will sing his new single "Smile."

Steven Tyler to perform "Dream On" with full orchestra. Steven will be backed by the DeLeo Brothers (From Stone Temple Pilots) along with Marti Fredrickson on drums and Russ Irwin on Piano.

Jennifer Lopez will duet with husband Marc & Marc -- duet

Beyonce performing w/Top 13 girls

Tom Jones performing w/Top 13 guys

Casey Abrams will perform with Jack Black on Wednesday's finale

Carrie Underwood duet with Lauren Alaina

Tim McGraw -- duet with Scotty McCreery

Haley Reinhart -- duet with Tony Bennett

Judas Priest -- duet with James Durbin

Haley Reinhart will also sing an original song, as confirmed by her parents.
If it sells well on iTunes, an album will be released. (So excited!)

The main focus of tonight, however, is who will be crowned the American Idol winner for season 10. My guess would be Scotty, although I hope it's Lauren.

I knew Haley wouldn't end up performing her single! It was all a ploy to get her fans to watch the show, just like yesterday when they "almost" brought her on the show to replace Lauren. At first, I was excited at the idea of Haley coming back, but I knew it was nothing more than a sly attempt to get back the viewers they flipped off by pimping out the two country kids since their auditions, Lauren especially. Lauren = single most pimped out contestant in Idol history.
