The Typhoon DVI system utilises a Speech Recognition Module (SRM), developed by GE Aviation Systems and the General Dynamics UK. It was the first production DVI system utilised in a military cockpit.
The Typhoon has also a thrust of 18 tons and a extreme climb rate of 315 m/s.
With the modern Supercruise the Typhoon can fly up to Mach 1.5, the max. speed is mach 2+.
