Oh yeah, my friends 66 fairlane 466, rare Holman Moody 2x4, ported C8VE, healthy solid lifter, 11-ish comp. 4k stalled 3.50 geared-spooled will still spin the hell out of drag radials... NO MATTER HOW long you roast them, even at 15 psi & VHT. The whole car would literally jump into the air 1/2 an inch at launch... Torque! That's just how 460's roll....

460? im working 78 landua but i will put on it a 302 just with a little changes, before it had a 400ci but i do something bad with it :c . The yours if fast and freaking cool

I've got a 74 Galaxie 500. What would you say your top speed is about? It appears you have the roads up there to have found out:) Are you running D0VE-C heads or CJ/SCJ heads?

D3 heads.. thought they were just stock pass heads till i pulled them and they have CJ Size valves and almost as big ports as SCJ.. BUT the pistons are only 9-1 :( but that was also back in 78 when this was unheard of!

According to your 1/4 mile MPH and the weight of your vehicle, by the calculations your car is making 414 RWHP. So assuming you lost 20% HP in the drivetrain, your probably pushing around 497 HP at the flywheel. Also, if that 1/4 mile MPH/TIme improves (if that wasn't your best run) all of the numbers go up. Example:
You run
13.5 @ 104
=
465 RWHP
+ 20% drivetrain loss
=
558 Crank HP

No thats pretty much the best she will run! Mid to upper 13's... on Drag radials..
on street tires shes an honest 14 second car! 14.54 etc..
