A therapeutic method known as Doman's Overhead Brachiation Ladder is highlighted by the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential .
Using this ladder, the child learns to support the weight of the body using hands and arms. This overhead ladder is used for various exercises and is associated with the development of upper body strength, as well as, balance and motor coordination.
In this video, Hulet Smith (Occupational Therapist)coaches his daughter, Sophia, who has Cerebral Palsy, through a walking therapy.

Interesting adaptation of a piece of common playground equipment for therapeutic use. Good thinking.

My best wishes for Hulet and Sophia Smith. I found this video because I was looking for anything with brachiation. It makes sense that it would be good for this sort of thing.
