1997 Fender Duo Sonic guitar - sound test

I got this little baby (3/4 scale neck) on a trade and the action sucked! I was hoping with a little love this guitar would play again. The duo sonics have a truss rod that is only accessed by taking the neck off the body as it's at the very bottom of the neck as opposed to a strat or tele. The stock pickguard on this thing is horrible, flimsy one-ply. The pickups aren't great, but with the right effects can sound vintage. Bottom line, a fun little guitar. This 1997 model is the last year of the reissue (maybe it'll be worth something someday, if I don't trade it first).

I just got a black '97 MIM Duo-Sonic last year! It's my favourite gutiar ever! OUT OF ALL 8 of them and the other 6 that my best-friend owns!

@AxeTrader I gave your comment a tumbs-down becuase you rock man! ^_^ I also just recent;y got one for only $175, barely ever used/played, and in orginial and perfect condition. ^_^ But I actually did have my guitar instructor Al Ferrante sign it, because he taught Johny Mayer and was in Edgar Winter's band. =)

actually , whats wrong with people today is that the cant or wont just find something about any video they like but they can find everything thats wrong though, i thought the tone wasnt bad for a demo of a heavly disorted dou sonic would sound like, ok the playin
