  • Is that Laura Linney?

  • Yes, it is. Amazing isn't she ?

  • Thank you very much for uploading these scenes. This was a superb miniseries. You have already done much, but if you are in an uploading mood...perhaps John Adams' and Jefferson's late-life correspondence scene?

  • I'll get right on it ^_^

  • @nyy4288 I cried there when first I watched, what a shame... But hurray anonimous nicks, nobody will know :P

  • This scene still gets me sobbing even now.Despite having watched John Adams so many times.Beautifully acted and so real. They were more than lovers they were best friends he needed her so much.

  • This scene made me cry so much when I first saw it. It seemed so much more genuine and emotional than most big, dramatic death scenes we usually see tv or movies. Lovely scene. <3

  • I usually don't cry at movies but this one did a job on my tear ducts.

  • Oh I'm a history major in school, and I absolutely adore this miniseries. This is by far one of, if not, the best scenes in this series. Laura Linney and Paul Giamatti are magnificent. So excited to be taking a whole class on the American Revolution just now.

  • If this had been a theatrical movie, it would have swept the Oscars

  • When will you've the scene when both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died on the same day on their deathbed?

  • @kardentyrell you know your right, i have never really looked at it that way, i have learend to try to understand it better, and watching this movie has helped me better understand what these men have done for this beautiful country i call home. because if it wasnt for them i may not be able to say i live in a free land!!

  • @Missfearless1994 I'm a bit concerned you see history that way, because what was history made the present...along with it's merits and mistakes that have shaped society. And many of the mistakes of the past that have not been learned from end up reocurring in the present and future.
