  • And social work is more than just "protection" (the area that gets a bad name). There's counseling, community work, etc. The positive stories are never shown in the media, only the negative because it gets more attention and more money. Social workers work extremely hard and there is a big toll they are expected to take with no questions. No one says "good job" but they are quick to say "you effed up".

  • The social work profession is not perfect, but what profession IS? Of course there are horror stories, it's a tough job... but the reason I chose social work is because after my BA in Psych, I noticed how the children I worked with had such positive relationships with their social workers, not their parents. There are positive stories, but the negative is too often seen.Obviously in protection foster care is a last resort but it happens, and it CAN be a good thing. Who wants to split up families?

  • that is an excellent way to get the point accross, in a fun way. :)

  • Very good! A hi from social workers in Brazil! :)

  • And these two were only the tip of the iceberg, thousands more lost their homes due to almost vigilante social workers, so much so even the Uk Government admitted to it during the MSBP scandal..

Under Professor Roy Meadows and Professor David Southall, both completely corrupt and both backed by Social Services..

And there was worse to come.

No not media, real life experience of these dirt bags... One thing you learn quickly is never to trust one of these parasites.

  • As for those in the case of Shreddedsociety, the only expression I can come up with is damnable liars. Court corruption, juidicial corruption, CPS corruption and fraud!

There was never any question that Sonja had ever harmed her child. Indeed she kept two young children, whilst the court simply stole the third and placed her into a physically ,emotionally abusive adoptive home.

I was involved with the latter court case where the judge refused evidence, 1938 Hitler, no doubt no question!

  • No stereotypes and what on earth has being a vegetarian got to do with anything? I know plenty of nice people too.

Also I must point out that the events I have talked about are not from the media, indeed most of them including that of ShreddedSociety and Fran Lyon have been that of personal experience.

The lies, deceit and fraud undertaken by Northumberland County Council Social Workers, was a complete and utter disgrace.

  • Care homes are the worse possible place to put a child.

Grandparents and kinships adoptions are preferred and better for hte children.

So that the family bonds are maintained.

Ask many who were adopted - adoptions often fail. The children are desperately unhappy.

    Check out adoptees rights organisations.

Adoption is not the great panacea it's sold as.

Check out the numbers of children being stolen by the SS for dyslexia, low IQ, and other Eugenics theories.

  • We know that many families have problems, but their care is "good enough".

If you study the outcomes for children taken into care, that care is THE WORST Possible outcome.

Check out their failed education, drug habits, prostitution, pregnancy rates. Then dare to tell anyone that care is a good place to put these children.

Even the judges admit the state is the WORSE parent on the planet.

There is a link between care homes and prison levels (Dr Lynne Wrennalls)

  • But again you drag the press in it...

there are alot of families ripped apart tnx to social workers. But they can only see their side of the story. But maybe the parent have a alcohol problem... but do not know it... (yes that happens, if you lie to yourself, you can believe it)

But there can be bad social workers, but they have to be punished... but there are far more good social workers then you can c now.

Btwi live in belgium, m following studies to become a good social worker :p
