An older video collection before I got the motor running, showing the oil pump, cam cover cleaning process, and operation of the camshaft and valves with me turning the motor over on compression.

Ring leakage can be herd whilst turning over, i am looking into replacing the rings since the bore is good.

  • nery nice engine. good vid.

  • it is!, though it still needs a bit of work it aint gonna blow up any time soon.

I'll make a vid with the pics I took replacing the inlet valve.

  • I've herd of ultrasonic cleaners before but their generally small ones for cleaning jewelry etc..

A bigger one working in conjunction with electro would speed the process up significantly, just as long as it dosn't wear holes in my tub.

  • Dry-sump engine...

  • Yes, it has a resivour incorporated into the fuel tank and the oil pump circulates oil through the system keeping a minimal amount in the crank case.
