How to get free beer, by making it will nettles! This clips will run you through a very easy Nettle Wine recipe, showing how to prepare and brew this unique free drink. Stick with us here, it's really very easy. There's also some footage of our lovely blackberry wine here. Homebrew is easy, enjoy!

  • Sadly the foul smelling wort turned into foul tasting beer!

  • If you want to spend a minimum of cash then make sure that bucket is food grade and buy some sterilizing power. Sterilizing everything is more important than any other stage of the process!

    Just trying my first wine batch, if I am successful I will be trying nettle wine, and dandelion wine (shove them in the freezer till ready)… there are plenty of nettles in my garden

  • ...nice vid nice stlye!...ok so i have the nettles from allotment and other stuff seems ok......except all the big buckets and things, as in i dont want to buy a load of stuff for what might be a one off.

    mate says he has a large bucket with no lid (proper home brew bucket!)

    Could i use this with an improvised lid?

  • will the yeast i get in a supermarket work or does ti have to be beer yeast to brew??? would apperciate it if you would let me know!
