@cfapps7865 very true

@MNHockey26 I guess the main problem is a group of kids dont grow up playing together from squirts thru high school anymore. There are options for the better players now.

@cfapps7865 I bet you are right the respect has gone down but thats only in certain areas there are still some schools that atract a lot of fans, it seems like the ruegular season is under appreciated people only want to see the tourney

@jjmg886 Thats because around the country, except for Michigan and the northeast, nobody cares about hockey.

@MNHockey26 I grew up playing top level hockey in a south suburb, loved hockey, coached my sons teams, and then moved out of state for 6 years. When i returned I couldnt believe how the level of play has fallen off. Its really sad to see how lousy high school hockey has become. I stopped by a high school game last year between 2 rival schools and there was 70 people there, when in the past those games would attract at least 2000 fans. Sooooo sad.

@Jspratt29 Don't try to make your team sound good MN breeds hockey players it doesn't take them from other states if players were smart they'd come here State of Hockey > Hockey town any day (by the way you don't deserve that title)

in toronto my high school hockey games gather around 40 spectators.. haha

Have to bring in kids from other countries and states to make up teams? No. Kids choose to move to Detroit to play AAA because it's the best youth hockey in the country!

@theemonkeymo They draw more fans than almost any NHL team. They sell out the X for the tournament.
@Jspratt29 I'd take a top 20 Class AA team from Minnesota against any of Michigans AAA teams. And our teams are kids from the same town. You guys have to bring in players from other states and countries to have a decent AAA team. What a joke.
