I have this solar panel also. Have you gotten it to work with an inverter so that you could charge a laptop or some other device that way? When ever I try it the high voltage alarm goes off.

Instead of connecting the solar panel directly to the inverter, connect the panel to a small lead acid or other 12 volt rechargable battery. The battery will act like a regulator. Then connect the battery to the inverter.
