well ... it can be as simple as he does not want you. Everyone has free will, and no matter how much you want someone in your life you can't attract someone in if they don't want to be with you. Free will is a law of the universe as well.

This is EXACTLY what I needed to hear. I am constantly offering resistance towards this guy I met and I am weary of controlling the situation and getting stressed about the whole thing and getting worked up about whether this guy likes me or not.
