András plays the recorder, accompanied by folk musician and sound technician Géza Pénzes on cobza (a traditional type of lute).
These recordings of András Hodorog were made in Hungary in 2007. We have recorded some 18 hours of footage, with two cameras. They were made with a view to publishing them as a collection in the future.

Hodorog András bácsival 2007-ben készültek ezek a felvételek Magyarországon. Mintegy 18 óra videót rögzítettünk két kamerás felvétellel. A gyűjtés célja majdan egy kiadvány létrehozása.

The name is Bulgarian and it seems rather likely the tune is too. The Csango could either have got it via the Romanians or via somebody else entirely, like the Gypsies or Turks.
The Csango version is all their own anyway.
