@ImDaveCrazy (Cont.) Ferrets squeak when they are hurt so I've heard if you squeak when they bite they realize it is hurting you and will learn not to bite so hard when playing. We've had quite a few ferrets and all of them have been play biters when we first get them but by just handling them a lot and working with them it's no longer a problem with them. Try getting books on ferrets or on the internet for ways to stop the behavior.

They're great, fun and playful, and honestly, they don't smell that bad if you take care of them, and in general.. though, something that is horrible, and true, is that they're extremely prone to life-threatening diseases like cancer. A lot of them don't see past a year.

Also when nip training and litter training them (especially when you have multiples) you can give them time outs in their cage. We do it with both of ours and they have stopped many bad habits!
