In this week's two-part episode, John Crowder discusses some of the dynamics faced by the church the in the internet age that differ from previous moves of God. With everyone having a virtual platform, there are many who presume to be teachers. This sometimes brings confusion, and John points to our need to avoid self-promotion over humility and teachability.
John prophetically cautions against a few other potential obstacles in this new media age, such as a bent toward debate and criticism on online forums, and the absence of real relationships in place of virtual ones. Also, how do we avoid random attacks, while still guarding against unhealthy teachers that tag onto the virtual platform of others? Enjoy some food for thought on the challenges of online ministry! Mmmm... yeah...
If we follow Jesus, and we keep our eyes on Jesus
even though there might be others ahead of us
that doesn't mean they are above us because we are one
We are all getting different stuff from God
We are like different colored jewels in HIS heart/eyes...
sparkling with LOVE.... for our FATHER AND OTHERS...................
LOL! GLORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks John for sharing from your heart... !!!

Hey Bro, You are amazing, Bless you and your ministry. It was fun on your mystical school in holland. It's good that you emphasize on relationship, some people forget that. I hope to hear more about relating to God and personal friendship with Him.

dude, if you are grasping at leadership...then maybe you ain't a leader. God places people in leadership. He makes them leaders by their very nature. good word.

Thank you John! I've encountered some of the very things you mentioned - people on FB who are taking your teachings, & tacking on universalism (that since Jesus died for all, all are saved, without having to choose Christ) & posting totally heretical sexual stuff related to God (the kind of stuff you addressed on the sexual mythbusters video) as well. When I broached it gently, they argued or mocked, & accused me of having a religious spirit. So knowing what the Bible says is "religious"! Ha ha!

Act 15:6-7 GNB The apostles and the elders met together to consider this question. (7) After a long debate Peter stood up and said, "My friends, you know that a long time ago God chose me from among you to preach the Good News to the Gentiles, so that they could hear and believe.
