It's a German tradition to celebrate Saint Martin's Day with a procession of children with lanterns. Some friends like to follow this tradition (although on a slightly different day for practical reasons) and organize a lantern walk through some woods near where they live. We usually join them if we can. Here is a flavour of today's walk. The music is "Laternelied", a traditional German song for the occasion.
