Yes, I paid $785 per month for a tiny ass room. Scholarships, student loans, and a part time job at the library helped me pay that high ass rent. :)

It's not true that getting student loans will "screw you for life." Too much will, but a fair amount of student loans is normal and to some considered "good debt" because it's an investment into your future earning potential.
