Absence of Malice is an 8 year old Percheron/TB mare. 17 Hands. I'm way too attached to her, so I will probably be a picky seller. I was told she had police horse training and 6 months of jumping training. She goes to a great home only.
I'm selling her because I want to start barrel racing again and although she knows the pattern, she won't be winning any 1D (or 2D, or 3D) times - ever. She's not a kid's horse. She can shy from butterflies and birds - and she can get spooky. She has a soft mouth and moves away from pressure. I haven't done much with her - just rode her around the arena and did a couple of very short trail rides with the girls at the barn. I have started Parelli with her (please don't tell my family about that) and she responds nicely to it. Her favorite hobbies are eating, hanging out with her pasture mates, and meeting people with treats.
She loads, clips, cross-ties, backs, stands for farrier, leads well, has manners, etc.. NO VICES. Serious Inquiries only!

She doesn't wear shoes because her hooves are in such good shape. She's had regular vet care from Dr. Taylor at the Auburn Vet School. I have given her hormone shots recently because of all the boys at the barn where we board.

She is very pretty, but you shouldn't swing an umbrella around like that... It could accidentally take someones eye out.
