Back To The Start ~ 6

"Nick just tell me the damn truth you were out with the guys?!" 

she shouted it didn't take long for him to go back to his usual routines of coming home late he tells her he loves her but it's like he hates spending time with her 

"Sel calm down I was working I didn't go out with anybody" he sighed as he lied "don't lie to me!" sitting down he began taking off his shoes "I didn't" 

"one last chance Nick did you go out with David and them?" she asked calmly "no" he knows he shouldn't lie but it's just better than dealing with an argument before it use to be so easy but now Selena doesn't let it go so easily 

"fucking liar!" his eyes widen at her choice of words she's not one to curse specially not at him "so I suppose you have an identical twin that must be the guy that Taylor saw at Joann's Bar tonight!"

He shut his eyes defeated before he even got a chance to try and get himself off the hook Selena was putting on her heels "where are you going?!"

"out!" grabbing her purse he took a hold of her wrist "it's thirty past midnight you're not going anywhere!" yanking it away from him "I said I'm going out! I need some fun too Nick"

Her heels clicking away till he heard the front door slam shut he fell back on their bed groaning in anger and frustration "Fuck!" barking at the air pulling out his phone he quickly sent her  text 'be mad at me all you want just come home don't be stupid it's late I'm sorry.'

Selena read it as she drove through the streets rolling her eyes she deleted it and quickly found Taylor's number 

"where are you?" she asked her "I'm on my way home with Ian" sighing "oh alright I'll see you tomorrow" 

"are you okay?" Taylor continued "I'm fine goodnight" hanging up 

She stopped at a red light not knowing what to do now but not going back home that's for sure that's when she suddenly remembered scrolling through her contacts she took a deep breath looking at the name she just said screw it and dialed out

The light turning green she contemplated on just hanging up but his voice echoed through the other end "hey Logan" she bit her lip "hey are you ok?"

"yeah I'm ok I'm just out I know it's late but I figured why not give it a try want to hangout?" shaking her head as she spoke "yeah sounds good I'm actually at Malone's" he responded "I'll be there in ten"

knowing it's probably not the best idea but right now she doesn't care and Logan was always a good friend, when she got there he was waiting outside for her

"hi" pulling her into a hug "hi" smiling they walked in sitting at a table it was silent for a moment 

"tough night?" he said "your fidgeting with your fingers it either means your mad or upset I still remember"

she smiled shaking her head "both" she sighed "but I don't want to talk about it I just need a friend"

Her phone began ringing looking at the screen with Nick's picture she ignored it then turning her phone off 

"so that kinda problem?" she nodded shrugging "let's get you a drink" he smiled motioning the waitress to come over to their table "just one"

he kept calling and calling "dammit Selena answer the damn phone where the hell are you?!" leaving the voicemail and throwing his phone across the bed looking over at the clock 3am

deciding to just go look for her at Taylor's since she wasn't answering her phone either he was putting his shoes on when he heard the door open she soon appeared

she looked at him but then ignored him taking off her heels she unzipped her dress grabbing a t-shirt she put it on and headed to her side of the bed 

"so your not even going to say anything? I've been worrying my ass off and your not going to say anything!" annoyed as to what the hell has gotten into her 

"I'm tired Nick goodnight" giving her back to him
