VISITA IGLESIA 2011

I went to Visita Iglesia with my parishioners. It is a great experience, both prayerful, fun, and exciting. Moments of silence and adoration are combined with prayers and singing in the bus... It is a wonderful tradition.

Here are the churches that we visited, and the corresponding intention that we offered:
1. Saint Alphonsus, Lemont, IL (for our parish, Saint Dominic Church)
2. Saint Patrick, Lemont, IL (for the grace of forgiveness)
3. Saints Cyril & Methodius (the poor and the needy)
4. Saint Michael, Orland Park (for the dead and the dying)
5. Saint Francis of Assisi, Orland Park, IL (for the next bishop of our diocese)
6. Byzantine Catholic Church, Homer Glen, IL (for the unity of all Christians)
7. Saint Dominic, Bolingbrook, IL (for the grace of heaven at the end of our earthly pilgrimage)
