This video might help explain what TAP3 is: An album by DADAHACK, an mp3 player which also functions as a cassette. It includes a 2gb SD card and it's also an SD card reader. Available from late March 2010 from www.dadahack.com.

The music is Burnt Fox by dadahack.

  • FAQ now available at the dadahack website.

  • Is 2Gb the biggest SD card the player will handle?

p.s. got No. 175/500 so come on people send your orders in! Dadahack deserve your support

  • @sponge342001 Not sure! I've tried a 4gb and that worked. I don't think SDHC will work.

  • One question, though

does this come with headphones and the miniUSB cable?

    cause that'd be awesome

  • @Charlie1jaco1 No cables or headphones I'm afraid. Most people have a favourite (and better than we'd be able to provide) pair of headphones... and also a favourite mini-usb cable ;) Thanks for the interest! DH

  • On the website, It says "edition of 500", does this mean that only 500 will be built??

  • @Cds56 Currently we have no plans to extend the run beyond 500. And if we do, there would be a significant difference (probably the colour of the device...) Sales going really well at the moment! Thanks for all the support. DH.

  • I got mine yesterday ^_^ it's going to be number 2

  • Hmmm, If it keeps selling fast i'll need to buy one SOON!

I suppose the TAP3 Doesn't support SDHC? No big deal for me, as I don't listen to a great variety of music at anytime, but an interesting thought nonetheless. 5285 views, I'd better hurry.... Forgot to say, this is a nice ad/stop motion animation, and the TAP3 Promo picture is beautiful as my desktop background.

  • Great device, I have number 103 of the limited amount of 500.

Great fun to have such a retro-MP3-player :) And yes, it works in the old fashioned cassette deck player :D
