@Pianist46 YES PLEASE!!! I live in Vancity as well, and she rarely comes to Canada. I think she only really frequented Montreal on the odd occasion, and that was when Dutoit was the principal conductor. And then she's only been to Toronto twice in 50 odd years of concert playing. Ugh!

I'm going to start learning this piece after i'm done with my Mozart concerto. This is so much better, and much more beautiful.

when Martha Argerich recorded this (something like 30 years ago--it's the performance I fell in love with) she played it a little slower and more expressively. But that's why interpretation is key in classical music--at different stages of our lives, we hear--and feel--different things. Martha, you're still an inspiring player!
