I had one in 1964. I bought it for £42 in Keighley. The front sprocket had no teeth !
I had it on the top of Otley chevin doing 55mph when the engine bearer snapped - so I held the engine in place with my left leg until I got home. The alternator needed re- timing every 10 miles. Piece of junk really but its history !

I had one 57 model when I was seventeen... now I am 68 and still love it..

They had a nice sound like a sort of crackle. But i prefer the smaller handle bars. The original size.

I had the same Cub from 1971 tot 1973. He was painted orange and black. But I had often problems with the oil pump. After a few km the engine overheated, but ten minutes later I could restart. Nice low bike and fantastic sound, but poor quality.

i cannot seem to find anyone who is selling one of theirs.
In 2008 ago my hubby gave me my first bike ever - A triumph daytona 675 as a wedding gift. This year for my birthday he gave me his first bike ever - the Triumph toger cub 1964. we are goign to restore it over the winter so I can learn about the engine. The bike had been in storage and not run for 5 years - a bit of fuel and it started ont eh second try - I cant wait to ride it as I love the vintage bikes - it just looks fun!
