what would i have to do to go about running a athlon 640 x4 propus?
ultimately, what would be the best am3 board for a budget gaming build x16 n least 8gb ram would be needed.

Dude are you high? Those square things are not capacitors! I actually trusted you for a second...but no dude. Those are called inductors or chokes. The capacitors are the little aluminum cans with the black stripes on them. ;)

i bought a MA 790FXT UDP5 AM3 Motherboard some time ago with a amd 965cpu now that the new 1090t 6 core cpu's are out id love to upgrade to that, now will this motherboard support the 1090t fully or will i need to upgrade to a 890chipset motherboard to get the most out of the new amd cpu??? :) thanks for ur help.
XiXmomoXiX 1 year ago
@XiXmomoXiX It will support the CPU fully, just make sure you get hte latest bios update and apply that before you install the new CPU.

Pcwizkid,I have a question?I'm building a pc and I bought this board and now I'm thinking
of buying the seagate barracuda xt.Does the seagate barracuda xt support this board or should I get the wd velociraptor 150gb?
RATSHADY 2 years ago
@RATSHADY, any SATA II hard drive is supported by this board. Get the Seagate

im assuming this is the GA-MA790FXT-UD5P board and you just forgot to put the GA-
in the title
AnimeGuy007 2 years ago
@AnimeGuy007, GA stands for Gigabyte, so there is no need to specify GA. Gigabyte is more informative.
