This is awesome. I've been investigating these open carry rights and have been thinking of doing it myself. I live in California and the gun laws are pretty strict here, but we do have the right to open carry. I love it! I've just got to get a couple magazine pouches for my belt. We can't open carry a loaded weapon, so the gun has to be unloaded.

The court ruled that the right to bear arms is an individual right. The state can regulate the purchase and carrying of firearms but it cannot outlaw gun ownership or make the ownership so onerous so as to prevent it.

You mean citizens are competent enough to carry firearms? But 20/20 said we weren't!!! : ) Cool gathering and exposure.
