  • Hi from Gros Morne! You did a great job on that video! I thought I'd let you know that there are no Elk on the island of Newfoundland, and thus none located in our National Park. The only members of the deer family found on the island are moose and woodland caribou. You'll have to come visit us soon!

  • Its great that you liked the video! we had tons of fun making it. sorry for the ungulat incaccuracy!

  • go to the website or look in the park brochure, it explains that gros morne is latin. "gros" meaning large and "Morne" meaning standing alone. Describing the mountain effectively.

  • Nice video guys... but that's far from the tallest waterfall in N.A. - British Colombia alone has several taller. Still, awesome place!

  • @jenhiscock Yea, srry been two years since i took the ferry over to the port.....but regardless of the correct name of the Animal you could hit by vehicle...look at the sign on the main road warning of how many deaths occured by idiot drivers speeding through the parks!

  • Great video. I believe you have mistaken Elk for Caribou. There are no elk in Newfoundland
