@MartyFriedmanRulez66 humidity alone will start string corrosion in roughly a month (depends whether they are coated). The problem is with rusty strings is they just CAN'T retain a nice tone, I promise you if you change to a fresh pair you'll be astonished at the difference, also rusty strings dramatically increases fret wear. I'm not trying to discredit you, but for the past 10 years i've never had a set outlast 2 months EVER. When I'm recording I restring daily! peace.

@MikeRCJ420 atleast for hours a day, I've also played for 8 hours a day on weekends, but during school it's usually a maximum of 6 minimum of 4, and butthurt? Never heard that one before, did you think of that yourself, oh how cute, it can think.

@MikeRCJ420 Yeah they last me a year, I play at least 4 hours every day, wash my hands before playing guitar, and when finsihed wipe down my strings with a string cloth, I also don't eat overly greasy food, and tend to avoid Italian food. Don't be so quick to judge. I tried to help someone out in selecting a string gauge to suit their needs and you're going to attack me for it? You sir are a total douchebag.
