hey reno did you have w2ihy make you a cable to run into that radio? im puttin my base station back together n am goin with a studio mic. you should try a tube preamp sometime, even a little art studio mp. they will fatten up your sound tremendously.

@deadkey61 yeah i got it from w2ihy. i think with cable and shipping it was around $100... some guys on the forum say it's not necessary, and you can build your own real cheap. i liked how it was just a nice clean box, and i can make any kind of box i want to key the radio.

yer listening to the talkback circuit of the radio. got a cable from the headphone jack to the input on the computer. this is how i do my gates.
