I do NOT intend to infringe copyright! This is a fan made video!

Second video using Vegas. I did this in half an hour. Since the almighty cyborg General has made his oh-so expected return in "The Clone Wars", I just had to make a video to celebrate it. And for some reason, Grievy made me think of the Joker in that episode. With all the kidnapping and stuff, I mean.

More specifically, the soundtrack I used is not "Why So Serious?", but "Agressive Expansion" from "The Dark Knight" soundtrack. I always thought the Joker's theme somehow fitted Grievous.

So yeah, Grievous shows us how to kidnap Jedi Masters most successfully, with all the might of the CIS behind him! Enjoy!

Before you ask:
-I used Sony Vegas Pro 8.0
-The song is "Agressive Expansion" from "The Dark Knight" soundtrack.

"The Clone Wars" CGI series and all related content are property of Lucasfilm Animation.

  • I never understood why grievous coughs in this video because it was before his lungs were crushed wonder why they did it like that? but anyway great video it really kept me entertained and made my day

  • @TheGameMaster7771 Yet, one might argue that he already coughed before the "Clone Wars" Episode 25, and Windu's crushing his chest only worsened it (seeing as the technology that kept him alive wasn't perfected until Darth Vader). I, for one, don't really mind it. I see the coughing as one of the character's most interesting traits, along with his hunchbacked pose and four arms.

And thanks for the feedback on the video. :)

  • @TheGameMaster7771 i think it is cuz he is just old for a droid

  • Grievous - one of the most impresive character's in Star Wars!

  • why so british....

  • @TheGameMaster7771 I believe it's been described that his lungs were already irritated by the process, just not as much. Still, I think they were just trying to give him the movie feel, rather than the clone wars cartoon or realistic feel.

I miss the clone wars cartoon =\ Greivous was such a badass in it.

  • In the end of the 2nd season of the first clone wars series, mace windu uses the force to partially crush grievous's chestplate as he's leaving, causing him to cough. I always liked this reason better because he wasnt always coughing b4, making him scarier

  • Nice mash up, really caught the nature of grievous.

  • @gr13v0u5 I remember watching a documentary on the History Channel talking about the technology in Star Wars and they said that Grievous' organic parts were not 100% compatible with his cybernetic body and that's why he sometimes coughs, it wasn't until Darth Vader that the technology improved somewhat or something like that

  • @TheGameMaster7771 no,i believe it was mentioned once in an interview of M. Wood, how, because the lines were 2 long,he constantly kept coughing now and then,be4 he'd finish his line. Mr. Lucas then made some considerations about the coughing and decided that its just fine, they'll leave it there, make sound fx on it just as well.

  • Dude this is still one of my favorite Clone Wars and Grievous vids Awesome work dude!

  • @TheGameMaster7771 george lucas dosnt give a fuck about the 2003 clone wars thats why and thats why grievous cant kill one little girl on this show cuz george dosnt give a fuck
