  • this is one of the best versions of Minor Swing i've heard. will definitely be coming back to this one.

  • GROOVY . I could feel a latin vibe in it . Especially on the intro .

  • Banjo was the original sound of guitar manouche... Para poder escucharlo !!!

  • Great arrangement for having a banjo in a gypsy jazz tune!

  • that banjo has THE TONE

  • ay, thats great! love your version :)

  • is this bella?

  • never heard of version with banjo

    thnx for posting

    really awesome

  • Hi Joshua, Thanks for the kind comment! I love the way jazz sounds on the 5-string. I was inspired by early Bela (I worked out "How can you Face me") and also Tony Furtado (ditto for "Blues for Alice" on the album "Swaped"; it's brilliant). I haven't worked out as many swing and bebop tunes as I would like, but they're a fun challenge. I'm just now getting into Brazilian "Chorinho" music, which is really amazing. I loved your lesson in Modes! Stay in touch, and best of luck, Glenn
