This is a song I wrote about moving forward, feminism, the Goddess, Earth, my Native heritage, and the discovery of things in mid life. Hope you enjoy it. I also did all the images on Photoshop. And yes, the woman wailing away is me.

  • Fantastic song -- beautiful combination of western mythology and indigenous spirituality, liberally salted with goddess power. Deserves to be on every young woman's playlist. Images equally evocative of the tension between wisdom and knowledge. That shriven apple! Good on you, Cathy.

  • What an interesting offering. Very well sung. Loved the background vocals too.

  • This is great, Cathy. Terrific lyrics with some nice phrasing. Love the backing vocal instrumentation.

The best part is the chorus, chills galore. Like how you also kept the momentum high into the second verse.

    Fabulous ending.

  • very nice

You know midlife is a remarkable attainment and the realization that your knowledge may be more unique than you have allowed yourself to admit can be an epiphany.

    Enough of my rambling..

Cathy I thank you for sharing with the planet your talent and prowess
