In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 2008 Dodge Caliber RT. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

  • i like the caliber even though it just gives away the look of a soccer mom-mobile

  • I think this car is still cute(: not as cute as the neon....this is more like cuteness with a chizzled jaw haha. I like it!

  • the engine on the 2006-2012 Dodge Caliber

    Engine

    1.8 L GEMA I4

    2.0 L GEMA I4

    2.0 L Volkswagen diesel I4

    2.4 L GEMA I4

  • is it v6???

  • fall out boy lyrics for a second there <3

  • @JiForceful Thank you!! But they still look nice :)

  • @LordKevin92 in 2011, they retuned the CVT to keep the engine in its torque band of 2250-2900 RPM, instead of it letting the engine wind up to 3600+ RPM and not doing a single thing.

  • @digitalrailroader hmmm i see what u mean.. well some people dont care much about it lol

  • @LordKevin92 basically, the engine was not tuned correctly to give optimal Low end torque, its not bad when its connected to a Manual Transmission or a TRUE Automatic (like the 4 speeds in the Sebring and Avenger) but when you connect it to the Jatco CVT they use in the Belvidere Triplets (Caliber, Compass, and Patriot) which was also not tuned for optimal torque, and you have a recipe for Disaster.
