got a pretty monster queen palm in our courtyard entry. About 30 feet now. Too close to the house. puttin out above ground roots. Concerned about foundation issues. What say you? thanks, Michael

if it is at least 2 feet from your house u may just cut the roots between
the tree and your house if u want to save it--u can buy a foot long blade
2 go on a reciprocal saw that will cut n 2 the ground--ken

no, you don't hurt it at all. There are quite a number of palms with rough trunks
that can be trimmed and clipped.

the bottle palm I trimmed in the video is probably 5-6 years old.

you can pretty much grow any palm indoors if you have a good light source inside and give them water as needed (which will be less than they would need outdoors) You can do a search on the internet to learn more just seach in quotes "growing palms indoors" or "care for indoor palm trees". thanks for your comment-- Ken
