When he came into the world, Einstein weighed less than a cat and was no taller than a cereal box. He was a miniature minature horse. Despite being tiny, he loved being a horse, and he longed to join the others as they trotted and galloped around the paddock. With each passing day he grew bigger and stronger, but still Einstein wasn't the right size to play with the full-sized horses. So he went in search of the ideal playmate. Kittens? Too crazy! A tortoise? Too slow! A bunny? Too shy. Poor Einstein. Why was it so difficult to find a friend? Then an odd-looking creature poked her head through the paddock fence. When Einstein went over to investigate, the creature wagged her tail, scooted closer, and--sluppp!--gave her a big kiss. And so the perfect partnership between Einstein and Lilly the white boxer was born.

Featuring full-color photographs of the spirited little stallion and a series of adorable creatures, this book about a true animal friendship will bring joy to nature lovers of all ages.

A portion of the authors' proceeds will be donated to the ASPCA's Equine Fund.

  • Hello,

I have a mini that is smaller than Einstein. you can watch Itsy Bitsy on you tube wit our rescued 4 month old Great pyr puppy. She is only 39 lbs. and20 inches tall at 8 months old.

Their is an update video on GMA and the view where the owner will not answer the question of how big Einsteen is now....He look to be much taller than my Itsy Bitsy Mini....

  • @Katindabox Thumbelina is a dwarf horse. There's been a controversy over which one of them (Einstein or Thumbelina) gets to claim the title of "smallest horse in the world" because of it. :(

  • Einstein is appearing on the big screen at the Ojai Playhouse Theater through the month of May! He is even cuter on a large screen.

  • tooo cute!! ^____^

  • AWWWWWWWW! Even smaller than that horse, Thumbelina? This looks unbelievably cute X)
