@stallion4life If eternal life were real, then NO ONE who genuinely believed in it would give a serious shit about their Earthly life. The 80 odd years you spend being physically alive are absolute peanuts compared to eternity. If you're going to live forever, who cares if you spend a tiny fraction of that time being poor or unemployed? It's interesting how many Christians are conservatives.

This is stupid. For most people, being a Christian shouldn't involve quitting your job and abandoning your family. Neither of those are necessary to get into heaven.

Really!?! How did WE find this out? If there a scientiic experiment I could perform to validate this conclusion, since, of course, science is the only valid way of knowing anything?

@TheyAreHere2 Science isn't looking to prove or disprove god. It's simply learning the truth. The truth disproves god. It's just a by-product of learning. If you don't think believing or not believing in religion doesn't have an affect on your mental state, you are so fucking wrong. The fact we are here says that matter beat anti matter by a GOOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!! Everyone always asking "WHO" created the universe instead of "What". "We are here." is not proof of a god. It simply proves we exist.

Has any REAL Christian ever said they are better than anyone else because they are Christian? They have said they are right. But not better. They have the right to say they are correct just as an atheist is to believe in naturalism or a Hindu can believe in Hinduism. We try to follow gods word but while we know we fail we keep going. God is not going to be materialistic. You WILL NOT FIND HIM with science!

How do you know what properties God has?
The implication of this video is not that christians think they are better, merely that they ought to feel a moral obligation to constantly proselytize to their irreligious peers given their beliefs. certainly, if I held those beliefs, I would not be able to bare the thought of my fellow humans suffering eternal torment or missing out on eternal reward.
