One more thing ... people who are into astronomy may continue to watch the new show. This new show will NEVER inspire new viewers, especially kids, the way Jack's show did. It's just not FUN or quirky. So it will appeal to only a very few & not build on Jack's success or life long goal of turning more people on to astronomy.

Theses guys mean well ... but they are NOT cutting the mustard! Maybe I will start my own you tube astronomy show! These guys are educated but TOTALLY lack the entertainment sense that Jack did so well.

@WBensburg I know Jack is dead. What I meant by "keeping Jack in the mix" was keep the same opening song. It is like an old friend. Why do people ALWAYS have the desire to change things that work? There is ALWAYS a new Yahoo ALWAYS a new something. I think they owe it to Jack to keep the show quirky & fun. The new guys mean well but they lack Jack's enthusiasm. They need to find a person who is over the top like Jack .... or me!!!

@c1magr8 I'm not sure what you mean by, "format". You may not know, but Jack died last year, so I'm not sure what you mean by, "Keep Jack in the mix". I dislike the new theme song, and I would have preferred to see Dean just take over (I think he captures Jack's enthusiasm best), but the "format" seems very much the same to me.

The old format with Jack was MUCH much BETTER! If it aint broken don't fix it. Jack created a formula that worked. He was a very creative guy. These guys mean well but they are falling short. Keep Jack in the mix ... he IS the reason it worked!
