Did you buy the C70 T5 after testing it? I've got a 2008 and love it. Never had any problem with the "converting component" even though I'm using it very frequently. Always getting nice comments. A few days ago a lady in her mid '70's said, "that's the coolest thing I've seen in a long time." Kids always make "transformer" comments. Even with the top up many heads turn. I wanted to get a Lambo (vertical lift) door kit for mine but my wife thinks it would be too over the top.
