Tomb Raider Anniversary Great Pyramid shaft climb "hard" bit

This bit is apparently troublesome for a lot of people, so I've put up a video of it being done (without shortcuts) in case there's something other people are missing. This is my first attempt at it in this playthrough; in other words, the few screw ups in this video are the only mistakes I made at this bit.

Main advice: ALWAYS THROW THE GRAPPLE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

I used the 50. caliber pistols and forgot they aren't available in the actual game at Atlantis, the combat isn't the focus anyway.

OMG.....I DONE IT!!!!!!FINALLY, and while I still had some hair left, don't think it's normal to feel this happy!I gave up trying to do it all at once. Jumped to the wee ledge, shot the target again, managed to hit it this time and then had enough time to do the rest. Hats off to all you guys who managed to do it with ease.

Which small ledge do you mean? If there's something that lets you cheat the sequence it would be helpful for people stuck on it.

i hate it how those huge bats knock me down all the time also the camera is part of the frustration!

the camera angle really confuses but the real difficulty is reaching the proper height for the 2nd grapple. i believe that you can pass this part mostly with the help of your luck, if you're an average tr player like me. ( hopefully i was lucky) and this part is "the boss". killing natla and the giant mutant was way too easy compared to this.

In all below mentioned process, dont do anything with the camera when you start jumping, go as it is coming ans specially no need to jump on the wall for second grapple. normal jump and on slide first touch jump and grapple and normal jump at the end of wall run. very easy ..right. it took me 2 days for just trying to jump on the wall at the first grapple and camera angle confuses me alway. then i played as it is and i find the way.. :P

2 days & becoz of camera angle i always fail to jump on the wall and land on the slide & on 2nd grapple impossible to reach the max. height to grab the ledge.But then find the way.first dont leave the buttons like if u jumped & swinging on the wall with forward button, keep pressing to make action as it is, First grapple & jump,As soon as lara lands on slide immediately (dont let her slip) jump,grapple & at the end of wall run, just normal jump again
