this is a video requested by one of my subscribers, he asked can I do a video on how to clean and store vinyls.

There is not much info to include really everything is included in the video, but here are some reminders.

.try to get ammonia free glass cleaner.
.Dont spray the cleaner directly on to the vinyl.
.Try to get a lint free cloth if possible.
.Dont use tissue or kitchen towel you will scratch the record.

I found the vinyl covers in this site: http://www.htfr.com/more-info/MR23930

nice one!!!

  • does the brush take away the static? i am using a micro-fiber cloth at the moment to clear the vinyl from dust and they get very 'static-y'

you can get record sleeves for cheaper on amazon, i got 100 for about $20 just search "record sleeves"

  • @Rturroo The one I used to have was awful for that but it was one form a cheap £1 shop, this one cost me about £5 and it works a lot better and doesn't cause static on the surface, so I guess you get what you pay for with these brushes.

Thanks for the info about the record sleeves I will check that out.

Thanks for your comment and feed back.

    nice one!!!

  • i find that Mcguire's Dash board cleaner works perfectly . i have used this for years and it makes the records sound and look new .

  • @helperout OH I have never tried that before, come to think of it I have never herd of it, I might have to keep a look out for that.

thanks for the feed back and the tip.

    nice one!!!
