Major Nelson's 1965 Pontiac GTO convertible is featured in this short opening clip from one of the Black & White I Dream of Jeannie episodes from the first 1965-66 season. Pontiac provided cars for the entire run of the 1965-70 series, and yet oddly GM and Pontiac Motor Division were not credited for this in the closing credit rolls. The ultra-popular GTOs were the vehicle of choice for Tony Nelson in the first three seasons, where '65, '66, and '67 GTO convertibles were provided. Bonnevilles and Firebirds picked up the task for the last 2 years of the show. Oh Major Nelson, for heaven's sake - PLEASE NOTE: Fair use and educational value on TV History are the purpose of this posting, enjoy!
@cubantoro - If I'm not mistaken, later episodes used that facade to represent Dr. Bellows' residence.

Virtually all of Screen Gems/Columbia's sitcoms, from the '50s through the early '70s, featured exterior locations filmed on their "neighborhood block" at the Columbia Ranch; the only thing different were the characters and the various homes they lived in along the block {i.e. the "Anderson" house on "FATHER KNOWS BEST" was "Tony's" house a decade later}.

Notice that Major Anthony Nelson lives down the street from Darren & Samantha Stephens! (0:00 to 0:02) Both shows were filmed on the Columbia/Screen Gems backlot.
