@zoocorklad i understand what you are saying. to me,maybe he feels guilt..when a person gets older,they look back sometimes and regret things theyve done in life.this guy probably was a kid in vietnam,killed the man in the picture and maybe it was the only man he's ever killed and the 1 thing he's ever done wrong.and and for 33 years he looked at that picture,feeling sorry for the little girl with no father.he's probably got kids himself.he probably went to church every week and cried for years.

@andykl108 What are you talking about? It doesn't matter if it's Vietnam or Timbuktu, the man still killed her father. Showing up with flowers and an old picture cannot change that.
