A radio interview with Ralph himself from about 2008. Ever wondered what he's been up to lately? What the deal was with the Bob Seger song at the end of American Pop? Or whatever happened to the "Last Days of Coney Island" animated film that he was working on? For answers to all this and more, keep listening!

  • @j9973 lol

  • @pHr33kAcHu *cool >_<

  • I hate the overedited style of NPR, but this is a coll interview.

  • I wholeheartedly agree with Bakshi's assertion that finding the right music is essential to creating a good movie. While some extraordinary movies can stand out with a minimal score (No Country For Old Men), the right music can make an ordinary movie terrific.

  • Release "Coonskin" on DVD and Blu-Ray!! It's truly Bakshi's masterpiece.

  • This interview is from the exxxxelent blog "The Bat Segundo Show".

  • When this film was released I bought up a lot of cel/backround set ups, and some of these came with copies of the rotoscope image. It's amazing how the animators captured the real image of the actors and actresses. Bakshi shot the whole film first in black & white with real people and few props, but to the best of my knowledge no one outside of the studio has ever seen this print. Anyone out there ever seen it? Great film in any case.

  • Nice interview. ADD PICTURES, movie stills, etc
