[二胡 Erhu] 眉扈小調 (紅軍哥哥回來了) Mei Hu Xiao Diao (Hong Jun Ge Ge Hu

This piece, originally a folk song of the Mihu people of china, is supposed to be played on a banhu, a much higher pitched version of the erhu with a wooden soundboard instead of snakeskin. In it, there are sounds of the Mihu people's culture, and from what I was told, they lived on mountains and to talk to people on other mountains they used high pitched voices that would travel across the mountain range. or something like that.

anyway, i'm assuming as part of the whole ethnic cleansing thing, the chinese people renamed it to 紅軍哥哥回來了 (hong jun ge ge hui lai le) which translates to "the red army big brother returns home." i'm just gonna call it by it's other name 眉扈小調 (mihu melody).

i guess i played this a little too fast and a little messily haha.. there are a couple of mistakes in it and i was too lazy to rerecord but the general idea of the song is there i think.
